Wendy Adams is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama. Her career in art began in New York as an actress and dancer. Wendy has had articles and works appear in Arts in America, The Atlanta Arts Center, The Limelight Gallery in Atlanta, The Quinlan Fine Arts Center in Gainesville, GA, The Tennessee Arts League in Nashville, The Tullahoma Fine Arts Museum, and The Tennessee Watercolor Society in Jackson, TN. Adams is a featured artist at Art Artelier Gallery in Atlanta, Iron Works Gallery and the Gallery at The Adams Edgeworth Inn, Monteagle, Tennessee.
“What draws me to painting is color. I am fascinated by how light and color affect each other. Objects have auras. when these auras overlap, they produce subtle changes in each other’s color, light, and shadow. Observing this and documenting it on canvas is an adventure.
