Teen Spirit Exhibit at Mason Murer

In 2012 Digital Arts Studio was asked by Atlanta Celebrates Photography to be involved in the Teen Spirit exhibit they were sponsoring.  Once we found out what the exhibit was all about* we jumped at the chance to help.  The exhibit was held at the High Museum of Art and was a great success.  Digital Arts Studio donated all the printing and mounting of the photos taken by these exceptional kids.

*“Please join ACP as we celebrate Teen Spirit, a moving exhibition of self portraits and accompanying statements made by chronically ill teens at the Scottish Rite and Egleston campuses of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. You will be amazed by the strength, creativity and humor these teens convey through their exploration of identity using photographic portraiture.”

In 2013 we were once again asked to participate and we agreed without hesitation.  The exhibit was displayed at A Wing and a Prayer Studio owned and operated by Corrine Adams, the Atlanta based photographer who worked with these kids.  The exhibit was once again a great success, so much so that Atlanta gallery Mason Murer Fine Art is reprising the exhibit with an opening reception Friday, February 7th, 6 – 9pm.  We hope you can make it.  See info below for details;
